Camping Interstation
Camping Interstation has at its deposal a greenfull terrain of approximately 6 hectares with its own beach of more than 400 metres! We are situated right next to the national highway Athens-Thessaloniki and therefore perfectly attainable. At the camp-out section containing more than 150 open stands, you are totally free to put up your tent, caravan or motor-home in the shade of metres long chestnuts, plane and pine trees. If you like the sun more, Camping Interstation has at its deposal a vast lawn enclosed by olive trees. Of course you can make use of electricity, showers with hot water, toilets and cook and washing facilities. Guests with caravan or motor-home can deposit their waste tanks at the designated areas. Camping Interstation also offers the possibility to rent a caravan, or one of the luxurious bungalows provided with all conveniences, for which we advise you to make reservations on time!

Furthermore, Camping Interstation has an excellent restaurant where you can enjoy the famous Greek Ouzo and taste from delicious European meals and the (traditional) Greek cuisine. At our beach with palm and olive trees, lounge and beach chairs, parasols, showers, music-bar with terrace, and a cosy mini-bar, both water and sailsport as well as beach and sunlovers have a good time, and a breathtaking view over the Maliakos Gulf surrounded by a spectacular mountainous and natural landscape.
In addition, Camping Interstation offers a wide range of sporting facilities such as football, basket and (beach) volleyball fields and tennis courts. For daily requisites you can shop at our mini-market, and at our reception with first aid, phone, exchange and postal services, you will find our friendly employees who are always ready for your further enquiries and wishes.
Because Camping Interstation attaches high value to nature and the environment, we have invested a lot in numerous (green) facilities especially during the past 15 years. In that respect we have improved and extended the bio-diversity, are all trees, lawns and plantings irrigated via a water-saving irrigation system, are all showers, toilets and washing-units connected to a biological and environment-friendly purifying plant, and is a major part of our energy delivered by…. the Greek sun!
Who are visiting Camping Interstation?
For many years, Camping Interstation is being visited by lovers of nature and culture, water and sail sports, as well as sun and beach adorers. Because of our geographic location in a beautiful setting directly at sea, we welcome guests throughout the entire year, who love hiking through green mountainous landscapes by foot, mountain bike, car or motorcycle, people interested in the rich culture of the region, and visitors of the tens of healing springs and health spas. Furthermore, Camping Interstation is a familiar address to visitors and participants of different annual events throughout the region, such as the several (old) religious and music festivals, and various nationwide trade fairs.
During autumn and winter seasons, Camping Interstation serves as base for hunting and fishing sports. Throughout the spring and summer months, the province Fthiotida becomes scenery of the notorious Acropolis Rally, several national beachvolley, basketball and handball tournaments, sailing contests in the Maliakos Gulf, and is Camping Interstation, also because of its excellent facilities, home to participants as well as visitors. During high season, Camping Interstation is much frequented by people who love the beach and sun.
Camping Interstation’s perfect attainability, right next to the national highway Athens-Thessaloniki, makes it well suited for an interval stop too. Because of our vast lawn its possible for larger groups, for example travelling by buss(es), to stay the night together or separate between the other guests.
